Wajer Yachts brings Parcom on board as partner

Wajer Yachts has found a partner in investment company Parcom to support further growth. The Wajer family will remain the majority shareholder of the company and Dries Wajer will stay on as Managing Director. The rest of the board and management team will also stay on. The collaboration enables further investments in sustainability, the construction of a maintenance shipyard in the South of France and the expansion towards the United States, where in Miami Wajer Bay Marina just opened.

Parcom is a Dutch investment company that helps entrepreneurs and management teams achieve their ambitions and supports them in phases of sustainable growth or transformation. Parcom's partner companies include Bouwgroep Dijkstra Draisma and superyacht builder Royal Huisman. The Dutch entrepreneurial spirit and energy make Parcom the ideal partner to help expand Wajer's potential worldwide.

Dries Wajer: “Our company has experienced substantial growth over the last few years and we have ambitious plans to expand Wajer and internationalize even further. With Parcom as our partner, we have the power and additional expertise to realize our dreams.”

The transaction is subject to approval by The Dutch Competition Authority (Autoriteit Consument & Markt).
