Contact

You can get in contact with us in several ways to ask questions. To answer your questions, we need to process your personal data. You can e-mail our sales team and you can call them or send them a message by phone. For this purpose, we use your:

We use this personal data to give you a comprehensive answer to your question. When you contact us, we process your personal data based on your consent. We store this information for as long is necessary to answer your question.

Newsletter

We provide a newsletter that we send out four times per year to inform those interested about our latest news, events and model updates. You can subscribe to the newsletter at different places on our website: by agreeing to subscribe at the booking process for the charter of a Wajer Yacht, by agreeing to subscribe when you fill in the Information Request form we have on our website, by agreeing to subscribe when you make an account to place an order on our webshop and by filling in the subscription form on our website. For this purpose, we use your:

We process this data based on your consent. We store this information until you cancel your subscription. After you cancel your subscription, we try to immediately delete your data, but we do this no later than 4 weeks afterwards. You may cancel your subscription to our newsletter at any time. Charter

On our website you can charter a yacht Wajer. When you want to charter a yacht, we process the following data:

We need this data in order to perform the agreement (to charter a yacht) we have with you. By processing this data, we can keep in contact with you about the charter and we can make everything to your liking when you charter the yacht. We can share this information with our payment providers to make the payment possible. We also use this data to make your customer account in our Customer Relationship Management software. We store this information for as long as necessary for execution of the agreement, but at least for a period of 12 months after the agreement has been completed. Certain types of personal data will be retained for a longer period to comply with the tax retention period.

Making an account

In order to make use of our webshop, you need to make an account on our website. When you create your account, you have to provide your personal data. When you create your account, we use the following personal data:

Our application: Wajer Yachts

The following points are specifically applicable to our application: Wajer Yachts (‘the App’). Owners of our yachts can get access to the App by subscribing to our service. When you subscribe you create an agreement (‘the Agreement’) with us, this makes it possible for us to use your personal data so we can execute the agreement. In this app you can do several things, for example you can track the position of your yacht, see the performance of your yacht or you can order additional services.

Account

For the use of our App, you need an account. For access to your account, you need to be an owner of a yacht and you have to be subscribed to our service. When you have subscribed to our service you get an e-mail with a link with your log-in credentials to gain access to the App. After you get this link, you only have to make a unique password. We combine your self-made password with the information we already have of you. For making an account, we process the following data:

  • E-mail address
  • Password

We process this data in order to execute the Agreement. We keep this data for 12 months after you terminate your account. Certain types of personal data will be retained for a longer period in order to comply with the tax retention period.

Position of your yacht

In our App you can see the location of your yacht. When we track the location of your yacht, we use the positional data of your yacht. We combine this positional data with the data we have of you from when you bought your yacht, so we can show the location in the App. We use the following data of your yacht:

We process this data in order to execute the Agreement we have with you. We keep this data for as long as your yacht is in use. The use of this data is necessary for Wajer to check the status of your yacht and to schedule maintenance. This data is only accessible by Wajer and will never be available to future owners of the yacht.

Ordering additional services

In our App you can order additional services. With these services we can make your stay on your yacht more carefree. When you order additional services, we process the following data in combination with the data we have of you from when you bought your yacht:

  • First name
  • Surname

  • E-mail address

Historical data

In the App you can see the historical data of your yacht. This includes the performance data and the location of where your yacht is. With this information we can display practical information about the use of your yacht. When we display historical data, we use the following personal data in combination with the data we have of you from when you bought your yacht:

We process this data in order to execute the Agreement we have with you. We keep this data as long as your yacht is in use. The use of this data is necessary for Wajer to check the status of your yacht and to schedule maintenance. This data is only accessible by Wajer and will never be available to future owners of the yacht.

General

Trial Run

You can get a trial run of one of our yachts. When you ask for a trail run of our yachts, we process the following data:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number

We process this data in order to execute the Agreement we have with you to arrange the trial run of the yacht. We also use this data to make your customer account in our Customer Relationship Management software. We keep this data for 12 months after we completed the agreement.

Press inquiry

When you are a journalist or a member of the press, we can add you to our press list. When we add you to our press list, we send you press releases with news regarding Wajer. When we add you to out press list, we process the following data:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail address

We process this data based on your consent. We store this information until you withdraw your consent. You may cancel your subscription to our press list at any time. Each press release contains a link to unsubscribe from our emails.

Providing data to third parties
