Wajer 55 named Best Weekender in Robb Report's Best of the Best 2026

Robb Report has named the Wajer 55 "Best Weekender" in its 2026 Best of the Best awards, published in the magazine's June issue. The annual awards, selected by Robb Report's editors since 1989, recognize the finest in luxury across categories including automobiles, watches, travel, and yachts.
The Wajer 55 appears as a full-page feature in the June issue. The recognition arrives one year after Wajer Yachts introduced the current Wajer 55, a complete redesign of its mid-size dayboat, launched in May 2025.
The 55-foot yacht was designed around the weekend: two cabins sleeping four to six, a full galley, a bathroom with standing headroom, and an integrated tender for the run ashore. Both cockpit tables lower at a single touch to create one open deck. An automatic fender system, concealed cleats, and a hidden anchor keep the exterior lines unbroken. The yacht is available in three variants: the open Wajer 55, the Wajer 55 HT with hardtop and sliding canvas roof, and the sport-oriented Wajer 55 S.

"We build for the owner who takes her out on a Saturday morning with the family," said Dries Wajer, CEO of Wajer Yachts. "That the editors of Robb Report noticed the things you don't see — that touches everyone at the yard."
The Wajer 55 is built at the company's shipyard in Heeg, the Netherlands, and supported in the United States through Wajer's own operations, including Wajer Bay Marina in Miami and seasonal locations in the Hamptons and Greenwich, Connecticut.

About Wajer
Wajer Yachts builds exceptional yachts with an extraordinary experience to match. Founded in the Netherlands in 1992, Wajer designs and manufactures every yacht entirely in-house at its shipyards in Friesland.
The range spans from 38-foot dayboats to 77-foot superyachts, alongside tenders and chase boats for the world's largest yachts. The look is unmistakable: clean, continuous lines that need no embellishment.
Wajer works directly with owners at every stage of the journey. Without dealers, intermediaries, or handovers to third parties. Instead, Wajer Care elevates the ownership experience, keeping every yacht maintained and ready whenever and wherever its owner wants to be on the water.
Everything Wajer does is guided by a simple, strong belief: luxury isn't what you notice, it's what you don't.
